Adult 40 & Over League
Team Information
USTA Atlanta continues to offer more opportunities for active adults 40 and over to continue playing the sport they love. The USTA Adult 40 & Over League is friendly, fun and competitive. Teams in Atlanta have an opportunity to progress to the USTA Georgia State League Championships, the USTA Southern Sectional League Tennis Championships and the USTA National League Championships!*
In Atlanta, the Adult 40 & Over Men’s league plays in early spring and late summer/early fall. The Adult 40 & Over Women’s league plays in the summer and winter. Participants must be 40 years or older and a USTA member. The Weekday Women and Men’s format is one singles position and four doubles positions. The Business Women’s format is 3 lines of doubles.
If you are interested in participating, but do not have a team, please use “Find a Player Form” to make your name available to captains looking for players.
*Please note, for teams advancing to the state tournament, the play format will be 1 singles and 4 doubles.

GRIEVANCE FORMS & PROCEDURES
Sportsmanship grievances may only be filed by a team captain. Captains are strongly encouraged to speak with their level representative or program director before filing. Sportsmanship grievances must be accompanied by the $50 filing fee.
Grievances must be filed prior to whichever occurs first: (a) the involved team’s next match in that flight whether or not the involved player participates OR (b) within 24 hours after the end of the local league regular season. For all grievances arising during playoffs (including city finals), Grievances must be filed within 30 minutes of the completion of the involved team’s match.
Completed grievances forms should be emailed to grievances@ustaatlanta.com (after submitting the $50 filing fee for a sportsmanship grievance only).
When a grievance is filed, the matter will be investigated and all parties will receive notice of statements made in reference to the matter and have an opportunity to respond. If during the investigation its uncovered that the party that filed the grievance was also at fault, suspension points may also be assessed to any and all involved.
